The Children’s Obesity Action Team wants you to have all the information you need to learn how to enjoy healthy eating and active living.
- Healthy Eating and Activity packets give you tips on healthy eating and activities, based on the age of your child. Parents may call the Children’s Resource Line at (206) 987-2500, option 3, or toll-free at (866) 987-2500, option 3, to request a free healthy eating/activity packet or through our online form. Be sure to give your child’s age — there are different packets for preschoolers, school-age children and teens.
- Indoor Activity Kit — The Indoor Activity Kit contains ideas for indoor activities that need little equipment and few materials. The kit was developed by Children’s and the American Heart Association. Order a free copy.
- Changes for a Healthy Lifestyle: Helpful Ideas from Parents (PDF 261KB) – Tips from parents on how to approach healthy lifestyle changes and specific ideas on modeling active living and preparing easy nutritious snacks and meals. Spanish version (DOC 1677KB).
